"Painting portraits of bunyips can be quite a task
They rarely sit still, though often you'd ask.
This one was quite shy and spoke almost never.
As all of us know bunyips aren't terribly clever'
Happy new year - I hope you have had an excellent holiday season.! Nice to be with you in 2010=) This painting was part of the recent exhibition, and was a collaboration piece with a good friend on mine, Seth Bell whose genius created this brilliant little character. It was an honour to paint it.
