I've been doing a few warm up sketches recently to get into the zone... it can be tough to get started some mornings. So to clear the cobwebs I've been using Andrew Loomis as inspiration and referencing antique photographs. Loomis was an incredible illustrator and a brilliant draftsman. His technical insight and studies on value, composition and technique are an invaluable resource to soak up skills from.
